The corona report and how this affects your industry.

The show must go on!

For manufacturers who adopt an excessively conservative strategy due to COVID-19 they will lose significant market share over the next 12-24 months. Physical lives are being lost but many successful businesses without the right export action will also cease to exist.

Exhibitions are either being cancelled, delayed, or suffering from lower visitor numbers. Mass gatherings of people are being advised against.

Due to the success of our campaign and the infrastructure, we have in place there has been a 40 percent surge in companies needing our services to sustain and increase export turnover.

We are entering a challenging future but it is important to not be ruled by fear. Now is not the time to adopt an excessively conservative strategy. Now is the time for plan B and to take alternative action to ensure that when the virus is under control, you remain ahead in your industry sector.

Imposed travel and border restrictions mean that manufacturers are finding it harder to visit prospective partners and customers. To alleviate this inconvenience, MIA has a network of local offices, research staff and project consultants all over the world. This means we have a presence on the ground that does not have to cross any border in order to communicate directly with local partners and customers.

The coronavirus has put pressure on all business operations in China and many other business operations elsewhere. Several industries are hit hard by supply chain disruptions and reduced demand in China. This can play more favourably into the hands of Western suppliers like yourself who have quality production at closer proximity to Eastern Europe.

In summary, this issue is not likely to be a short-term challenge. Rather it is likely to be a recurring issue of our generation as novel viruses emerge. As there will be an impact on manpower, supply chains, and market confidence, it’s important management are putting better practices in place to mitigate the negative effects.

Our service can provide a safer, cost-effective method for continuing to connect with your prospects.
